See the world in a whole new angle with a pair of dual-focus iOptik contact lens
To be human doesn't mean that we can't see things like a super hero does and that will only take a pair of especially designed contact lenses to be able to do that.
Innovega has come up with these lenses called the iOptik, that even the Pentagon can't wait to get their hands on. Apparently, their research lab in Darpa will be supplied with a prototype as a contract between them and Innovega has already been signed.
But how does iOptik work anyway? Well, normally, as we only get to see or focus on a certain thing one at a time, using these contacts will enable one to view things at a different level. Having two different filters, these lenses will let the wearer have a dual-focus on two things simultaneously. It enhances vision even with anything that is placed very near the eye and do away with having to use bulky optics just to be able to do this completely. Can't wait to grab one? Well, expect them come 2014.
