Facebook warns off employers who demands FB access from employees
.
It's all over the news. There have been several reports that employers were sniffing around wanting to get personal access through a person's Facebook account while on an interview for a potential job.
This caused Erin Egan, Facebook's Chief Privacy Officer to speak up against them when she posted a warning that a legal action can be imposed to those who demands for other people's passwords.
She wrote: "This practice undermines the privacy expectations and the security of both the user and the user's friends. It also potentially exposes the employer who seeks this access to unanticipated legal liability."
