Gigabyte GSmart G1355 Dual-SIM Android Smartphone Specifications and Pictures
Gigabyte will be launching new affordable Android, the Gigabyte GSmart G1355 which comes with two main attraction points: it is a dual-SIM Android which also features a 4.3-inch WVGA screen. This makes the Gigabyte GSmart G1355 stand out of the crowd as most dual-SIM droids only pack small screens.
Even if the device comes with a large WVGA screen, the GSmart G1355 is not a high-end device by any means, as it will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, powered by an outdated 800MHz CPU Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset with 512MB RAM.
Other important specs include a 5-megapixles auto-focus camera with LED flash, a microSD card slot and Wi-Fi b/g/n. The Gigabyte GSmart G1355 is 11.5mm thick (which is not bad at all), but weighs almost 170g, which practically makes it chunky even for a 4.3" display phone.
Its specs are quite similar to the ZTE Skate, or Orange Monte Carlo as you might know it, but the GSmart G1355 has the advantage of the second SIM card slot. The GSmart G1355 is expected to launch at the end of this month, which means the handset will probably be present at the MWC in Barcelona.
Unfortunately, we have no further information regarding pricing or availability at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted.
