Samsung today introduced the new Series 9 27-inch quad-HD monitor. The display features Samsung’s Plane Line Switching (PLS) panel technology, offering a quad high-definition resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Samsung Series 9 also has a built-in set of 7W speakers, an adjustable aluminum stand, several connectivity options (USB 2.0, DisplayPort, dual-link DVI, and HDMI connectors) and the new MHL standard, which allows you to connect this monitor to any compatible Android tablet or smartphone. The Samsung Series 9 27-inch quad-HD monitor will be released in March 2012 for $1,199.99.
