AOC has unveiled a new computer display for people that want another screen, but don’t have the connectivity on their notebook or desktop to add one. The display is called the e2251Fwu and all it needs for power and connectivity is a single USB port. The display has DisplayLink tech.

The resolution of the display is 1920 x 1080 for full HD resolution support. It is also HDCP certified for Blu-ray playback. The display screen is 22-inches and it is LED backlit to save power. The profile of the display is only 10.6mm thick.

That high resolution is a first for a USB powered display making this perfect for a second screen. The display comes with a stand and will sell for $199 when it hits the market. We don’t know what sort of color support the display can muster, with the ability to support HD it better have good color.
