Toshiba has released a new tablet in its home country Japan — the Toshiba WT301. This one’s a 10.1-inch slate tablet based on Windows 7 Professional operating system.

Based on Intel Atom processor, the tablet packs 2GB DDR3 memory, 64GB SSD, and 10.1″ multi-touch display (1366*768 resolution).

The Toshiba WT301 also provide 802.11 bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, microHDMI, USB 2.0 port, 1.3MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front camera.

It is expected to hit Japanese market in January 2012. No word on pricing.
