2012 Triumph Speed Triple R Specifications and Pictures
.
The Triumph Speed Triple R is a harder edged version of the Speed Triple. The Ohlins suspension is the headlining feature with a gold NIX30 43 mm fork and TTX36 shock offering increased absorption capabilities and better looks. The Speed Triple R also shaves 3.7 pounds with the addition of PVM five-spoke forged aluminum wheels. Four-piston monobloc Brembo brake calipers slow down the iconic street fighter with switchable ABS available as an additional option. Triumph says the R has a 5% increase in braking performance as a result of the high-end components.
