Motorola XT615 Android Smartphone Specifications and Pictures
Motorola has announced a brand new Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset, namely the Motorola XT615.
The XT615 has an interesting design, and is targeted at young users. It could be mistaken for a high-end device – it’s not, though, because it only has an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227A-0 processor, and 512MB of RAM. That aside, its feature set is quite attractive, including a 4 inch FWVGA (854 x 480) edge-to-edge display, Moto Switch UI 2.0, HSDPA (900 / 2100 MHz), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, 1GB of ROM, and MicroSD card support.
Measuring 117.7 x 60.5 x 9.85 mm and weighing 123.6 grams, the Motorola XT615 has two color versions: licorice (which is another way to say dark gray), and “ultra white.” The smartphone will be first available in Taiwan (exclusively via Taiwan Mobile) starting mid-December, for 10,900 Taiwanese dollars (about $360 or €265). Motorola didn’t say when it intends to launch the new handset in other markets.
