Black Nokia Lumia 800 Specifications and Pictures
Nokia Lumia 800, the first handset that Nokia unveiled to the world with Windows Phone on board, is now available for pre-order in the UK via wireless carrier Vodafone.
The operator has just announced that the Black flavor of the Nokia Lumia 800 is listed on its website now, and that it also has a special promotion in place for those interested in the handset.
Those users who will be among the first 10,000 to reserve a Nokia Lumia 800 handset will receive £60 of vouchers free (that's around $96 / 70 euros).
Here's how Vodafone says it will go down: “Buy one of our first 10,000 Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows Phone smartphones, and get a £10 voucher each month for six months.”
“Use them for everything from a stunning case for your Nokia Lumia 800 to coffee at Starbucks, music from Zune – and anything you fancy at Amazon.”
Those who would like to learn some more info on the promotion should head over to the wireless carrier's website here for that.
As for the Nokia Lumia 800, it sounds like a deal on its own, with that fast 1.4GHz application processor it packs inside, and with the 3.7-inch screen it features on the front.
The handset was packed with 16GB of internal memory, as well as with an 8MP camera on the back, with support for HD video recording.
It also features a front camera for video calling, as well as WiFi and 3G connectivity capabilities, GPS receiver with support for Nokia Maps, and more.
“The Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows Phone is the first Nokia smartphone to have Windows Phone 7.5,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.
“Its beautiful design is a head-turner. Simpler social networking keeps you connected to those who matter. Internet Explorer 9 gives you quicker browsing – plus the web like it is on your PC. And with a Carl Zeiss lens and 8-megapixel camera, you’ll shoot better photos and video.”
