Evercool Transformer S CPU Cooler Specifications and Pictures
Evercool decided to out its newest central processing unit cooler in style, so it uploaded, on YouTube, a promo video of the Transformer S which, contrary to what one might think, is not a high-end model.
Consumers would probably not feel too surprised if they were to stumble over a high-end CPU cooler being advertised through flashy videos.
What might, however, draw their attention is this method being used for coolers that aren't even close to the might of, say, the Alpenfohn K2.
Indeed, even though the Transformer S does not have much in the way of enthusiast-grade features, its maker, Evercool, had a giant robot introduce it.
More specifically, the company uploaded a promo video of this item that measures 130 x 161 x 78.5 mm (5.11 x 6.33 x 3.09 inches) and has a weight of 630 grams (22.22 ounces).
Pricing details were, unfortunately, not provided, but even if people won't have to pay too much for it, the Transformer S still has some assets that can't be ignored easily.
The existence of two direct touch copper heatpipes is one of those features, as is the 120 mm Ever Lubricate Bearing fan.
Speaking of the fan, the spinner works at a rotary speed of 800 to 2,200 RPM (rotations per minute), while the maximum sound output is supposedly less than 20 dBA.
For those who haven't guessed, the white fan (with 9 blades) has a diameter of 90 mm.
Other specifications include an aluminum fin array, a push-pin mounting system and support for both Intel and AMD CPUs.
Indeed, in addition to Intel LGA 775. LGA 1155, LGA 1156 and LGA 1366 processors, the newcomer also supports AM2, AM2+, AM3 and AM3+ central processing units from Advanced Micro Devices.
Finally, the size lets the cooler fit in most ATX cases and the shock absorption rubber nail design minimizes shake, enabling the silent operation.
