AVADirect Clevo P180HM Monster Notebook Specifications and Pictures
AVADirect has just announced the introduction of a new notebook built around a 18.4-inch display and featuring no less than two Nvidia GTX 560M graphics cards in SLI, the Clevo P180HM, which targets hardcore gamers and users in search of a high-powered graphics workstation.
The new notebook is based on the Clevo X8100 design which was based on Intel's mobile Core 2 Duo processors, but now features improved performance thanks to the addition of the latest generation of Sandy Bridge CPUs.
More specifically, AVADirect went for the Core i7-2630QM CPU that packs no less than four processing cores with Hyper-Threading support clocked at 2GHz and with a 2.9GHz maximum Turbo Boost.
The fast Intel Sandy Bridge CPU is paired together with 4GB of system memory (12GB max), as well as with Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560M graphics core which includes 1.5GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM.
The stock configuration of the P180HM comes with two such graphics cards setup to work in SLI and providing an impressive 3GB GDDR5 of dedicated video RAM.
In the AVADirect creation, this GPU is responsible for driving a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution LED backlit display that measures 18.4-inch in diagonal.
The rest of the configuration list is fairly standard for a gaming notebook and includes a 500GB hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200RPM, Wi-Fi b/g/n thanks to a Killer Wireless-N NIC, Gigabit LAN and Bluetooth connectivity, a 2MP webcam, a DVD burner, as well as 2.1-channel audio with Dolby Home Theater v4 certification.
Along the sides of AVADirect's latest creation, users will find all the usual ports and connectors, including a multi-format card reader, HDMI and VGA video outputs as well as eSATA and USB 3.0 storage ports.
The base price of AVADirect's Clevo P180HM is set at $1,943.52 (about 1,424 Euros) and is available right now for purchase from the company's website.
