Back in December, Asus unveiled their first projector, the P1. This model is supposed to be a companion to their laptops in order to provide big displays for presentations. Today, the company announced that this projector is expected to release in the UK before the end of the month. The projector is capable of displaying 200 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The projector weighs less than a pound and is about the size of a thick book. The projector is powered by an LED that comes with a 30000 hour lamp life. The P1 has several connection options and supports RGB and composite connections. There are also a USB and a SD card slot for PC-Free presentations. The projector is expected to retail for €459 ($608).
