Pocket Tablets to roll out soon?

Another concept to integrate both smartphones and tablets? Well, this may be interesting.

Designed by Patrick Erickson, what he calls as the Pocket Tablet, would turn your regular smartphone into a tablet.

Thanks to a new discovery, that would be made possible by the use of flexible OLED technology wherein your smartphones can be folded into your usual phone with a trick under its sleeves. This pocket tablet can fold open and spreads out into an even wider screen display revealing an instant tablet.

And just as the name implies, it will fit right in your pocket when not in use, portable enough to carry around, don't you think?

While the true tablet experience may not exactly measure up with this one, it would still be nice to have a smaller version just so.

InaTrap kills insects with a touch of class

InaTrap Electronic Insect Killer

Who would guess a lamp as dainty and elegant like this one is a mean killing machine when we talk about all those blood suckers or even those other annoying insects that flies around your home?

Well, this fly trap came from the makers of Acase together with Inadays to get rid off those pests and those stinking insect sprays as well.

InaTrap Electronic Insect Killer
The InaTrap works by attracting insects with its glowing led light and a photocatalyst reaction where it omits a low level of carbon dioxide just like a human's breath to fool those insects with. And so, while those insects are lured into that mesmerising light, they will be sucked down by a noisless fan and into a trap where they will be crashed and chopped into tiny little pieces. Cut the last part though because they will only be trapped and maybe just suffocate to death. Either way, you'll surely have a peaceful and dreamless sleep.

Erythropoietin: A good source of exercise motivation

TITLE

Fat problems? But you're too lazy to get your feet up and head out for the gym. Now there's a solution to kick up some adrenalin rush so you won't just sit around for long and perhaps even run a few marathons just by taking EPO.

Erythropoietin or known as EPO is a hormone produced from the kidneys that controls red blood cell production in a person. Athletes use this as a performance enhancing drug that increases their endurance.

Erythropoietin
In a recent study done by researchers from the University of Zurich in Switzerland, they discovered that EPO can increase the motivation to exercise as observed on three types of lab mice. One group that can produce human EPO genetically in their brains, another group were injected with EPO and the last group without it. Those with EPO showed an increase in the running performance with no increase in the red blood cells.

With this study, it would somehow work on humans as well that will stimulate activity, hence, the mood to work out the body and say goodbye to body fat in no time.

Nintendo Wii U

No multi-touch capabilities? This may probably be a major setback for those hoping for one but no big deal for others. As it turns out, the Nintendo's Wii U has a single-touch feature along with other several updates as well.

According to Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America president, the reason why they have incorporated a single-touch feature was that the Wii U itself already consists of button configurations, that using all your fingers would somehow feel awkward. After all, the Nintendo's Wii U is a gamepad controller that they saw one doing a two-screen thing.

Nintendo Wii U

Smart Bed, anyone?

Smart BEd

With so many things to do in the morning, making the bed gets a little nasty especially when you're being yelled at by your mom everytime you wake up, leaving it as it is. It's every kid's dilemma. Talk about lazybones. Well, if you're really that late or just in a hurry and still a little sleepy, you would just grab your coffee first, right?

That's why, people from OHEA, a spanish furniture maker has an easy solution for any reasons that you can come up with as to why you wouldn't want to deal with the bed making task at all.

Smart Bed
"Smart Bed" is the world's first automated bed that makes itself so that you can go ahead and leave the clutter. It works when set on an automatic mode. There's a panel on each side of the bed that opens where two mechanical arms with rollers extend then pulls the covers from the foot to the head of the bed. The pillows elevate and get straightened up by cords attached to it once the panels rotates and when the covers reaches the head of the bed the pillows falls on top of it again. No worries too since this bed is smart enough to know if the bed's empty or not.
