Today, MSI released its 10.1-inch Wind U180 – Cedar Trail netbook in Japan.

The MSI U180 has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED backlit display, powered by the latest Intel Atom N2600 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of DDR3 memory and 320GB HDD. The netbook also has Wi-Fi IEEE802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 + HS, a 0.3MP webcam, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and a card reader.

The MSI U180 is 21.26mm thick at its thinnest part and it weighs around 1kg. It is offered in black, white and purple, pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition, and its battery can hold up to 3.5 hours on a charge.

In Japan the MSI U180 netbook will be available from March 23rd, this year, with an expected retail price of 31,800 Yen ($380 USD).
