Intense PC was designed with customisation and extensibility in mind, with the design of the mini PC making the hard disk, RAM and mini-PCIe cards are all accessible through a one-screw service door at the bottom of the computer.

Other features of the CompuLab Intense PC include HDMI connection supporting 3D and up to 1920 x 1200, 2 x Gb Ethernet ports, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 and a RS232 full UART via mini serial connector. As well as 7.1 channel audio with S/PDIF input and output and mic and line jacks, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 3.0. Stas Lapchev, Intense PC Project Manager at CompuLab explains:

CompuLab expertise in tight integration and advanced thermal design was found to be critical during the development of Intense PC,”-“We see bringing this kind of performance into a fanless design as a major achievement.
