Asus has unveiled its new Cedar Trail-based netbook, the Asus Eee PC 1011CX. New mini-laptop is basically improved version of the Asus Eee PC 1011PX that replacing the Intel Atom N455/N570 Pine Trail chip into a new 1.6 GHz Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processor.

Coming with a raised palm rest, the Eee PC 1011CX measures 10.3 x 7 x 1.4 inches and weighs just 2.8 pounds. The Asus Eee PC 1011CX netbook packs a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB/2GB of RAM, and a 320GB/500GB hard drive.

Its 6-cell 48Whr battery is enabling up to 11 hours of use per single charge. This Asus seashell-inspired netbook has a 0.3-megapixel camera, built-in microphone, stereo speaker, and a SD/SDHC/MMC card slot.

In term of connectivity, the Asus Eee PC 1011CX netbook brings three USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI ports, an Ethernet jack, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and optional Bluetooth 3.0.
