U.S. Cellular Releases Samsung Galaxy S Aviator Pictures

U.S. Cellular has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator will be its first 4G LTE smartphone when its new network launches next month. The Galaxy S Aviator runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and sports a 4.3-inch display.

Appearing to be very similar to the Samsung DROID Charge released by Verizon Wireless last year, the Aviator's 4.3-inch screen has WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution and is a Super AMOLED(INFO) unit. The phone features an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and will allow users to talk on the phone while surfing the web at the same time.

U.S. Cellular will offer 4G LTE service in select markets throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, Maine, North Carolina, Texas, and Oklahoma next month, with more markets to be added in the future. A specific launch date and price for the Galaxy S Aviator has yet to be announced, but we expect to see it in April.
