Tascam has released the iM2 stereo microphone for iOS devices. The gadget turns the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch into a high-quality stereo recorder. The Tascam iM2 features a pair of condenser microphones that are adjustable over 180 degrees for optimal sound placement. The iM2 features a microphone preamp and an analog-to-digital converter that enables the device to handle up to 125dB SPL sounds for the loudest concerts and instruments. Other specs include a stereo limiter to block sudden loud sounds. The Tascam iM2 stereo microphone for iOS devices is priced at $70.88 a pop.
