Huawei Honor (FCC) Smartphone Specifications and Pictures
Already released in the US by Cricket (under the name of Huawei Mercury), the Huawei Honor has received a new FCC approval. This time, the version that’s been approved is a GSM one, unlike Cricket’s Mercury, which is a CDMA device.
The Honor seen now over at the FCC comes with WCDMA 850 / 1900 bands. This would allow AT&T to launch it, in case it considers the new Android handset is worth the trouble.
The Huawei Honor features a 1.4GHz single-core processor, 4 inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording.
The Honor is already running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although only in China. Anyway, an update to ICS for it should be available pretty soon in all markets.
