The Clevo P270WM, the first laptop with the Intel X79 chipset, is now available for pre-order via AVA Direct.

The “fastest desktop replacement in the world” supports desktop-use Intel Core CPUs, up to the six-core i7-3960X with a maximal 3.8GHz clock speed in Turbo Boost mode. The CPUs on this laptop are overclockable and are paired with single or dual mobile Nvidia GeForce GTX 580M. The Clevo P270WM supports up to 32GB of RAM and has three storage bays for HDDs or SSDs. Display size is 17.3″ and the resolution is full HD. The basic price is $3,122.
