Acer Revo RL70 Nettop PC Specifications and Pictures
Acer has just quietly released its new Revo series RL70 Nettop PC powered by AMD's E-450 (Brazos) APU.The design is akin with previous Nettop models from the company, but has a few subtle design changes to help it blend in a bit better in the lounge.
Running over the specs, as mentioned, it uses AMD's E-450 APU which houses a couple of Bobcat cores at 1.65GHz along with Radeon HD 6320 graphics - more than enough for typical multimedia use. There's 2GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD in it out of the box.
Connectivity is relatively well covered with a multi-format card reader, a couple USB 2.0 ports on the front along with mic and headphones jacks, four more USB 2.0 ports on the rear, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n wifi, VGA and HDMI video outputs and an S/PDIF audio output. No sign of USB 3.0 or eSATA, but that's probably not of too much concern given the RL70's intended purpose.
Acer ships the Revo RL70 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and it's now available at a cost of $329.99.
