The Acer Aspire One D270 is one of the first 10 inch netbooks to feature a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual core processor. It’s expected to sell soon for $280 and up, but it’s not available for purchase yet.

But now it looks like launch day is approaching. The Aspire One D270 passed through the FCc last week, which is one of the regulatory hurdles any device with wireless capabilities needs to leap before it can go on sale in the US.

The netbook features a 10 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display with a matte finish, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, HDMI output and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

According to the FCC website, the official model number for this netbook is the Acer ZE7, but it will be marketed as the Aspire One D270, Aspire One AOD270, or Acer Aspire One Happy.
