Motorola Defy Mini Approved By The FCC Pictures

Motorola’s DEFY MINI made an appearance on the FCC today, winning approval for GSM bands 850 and 1900, WCDMA bands II and V, Bluetooth and WiFi. The diminutive device features a 3.2-inch screen, 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 3MP rear facing camera (VGA front), and Android 2.3. That feature set won’t blow anyone away, but it does make the DEFY MINI a solid low-cost competitor in the Android market.

No word on pricing or a release date in the United States, but the DEFY MINI’s GSM/WCDMA support does line up with AT&T’s service in the States, suggesting that a launch on the carrier may be imminent. The device is expected to launch in February or March in UK for about $225.
