Lenovo has announced redesigns to its high-performance K-series line of traditional tower PCs and H-series line of slim desktop PCs.

The IdeaCentre K430 is a black mid-tower chassis for the media power-user and gamer. The front of the system features a slanting faceplate for easy access to front-facing ports. Upon launch, it will have the option to be configured with the latest Intel Core i-processors and up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM. There will also be space to include an Nvidia SLI or ATI CrossFireX graphics card, as well as twin hard drives in a RAID 0 configuration. The IdeaCentre K430 chassis has enough room to support up to 4TB of spinning hard disc space and up to 128GB of solid state space.

Lenovo includes its own power control switch on the IdeaCentre K430 that allows you to shift the desktop between one of three modes: Turbo, Auto, and Cool. So depending on if you're gaming or simply surfing the web you can adjust your power consumption and fan speed accordingly. The IdeaCentre K430 will be available in May for a start price of $599.

The H520s, on the other hand, is a slim PC, about two times smaller than your run-of-the-mill desktop, which is perfect if you're looking for a home entertainment system. It comes with the option to configure it with a DVD Burner or Blu-ray player and optional 5.1 surround sound. An HDMI port that outputs in 1080p HD comes standard, so you can connect the H520s to an external display like an HDTV. You'll have configuration options for the latest Intel Core i-processors and Nvidia GeForce or AMD Radeon discrete graphics. The H520s will be available in June for a start price of $499.
