Hitachi has showed off their latest internal HDD, the Deskstar 7K4000. Coming in 4TB capacity, this 3.5-inch HDD is equipped with 64MB of buffer memory, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, 7200RPM spindle speed and capable of delivering a maximum media transfer rate of 1,638MB/s. The Deskstar 7K4000 will start shipping this month for unannounced price yet.
