Epson Five New PowerLite Pro Z-series Projectors Specifications and Pictures
The Epson PowerLite Pro Z series projector lineup was recently seen welcoming five new members namely, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. Sporting a neat chassis, the units are fashioned for employment in various areas such as at businesses, educational institutes, houses of worship, museums and others. The latest offerings claim to bundle in some interesting features for seamless utility.
Connectivity options are an important attribute when it comes to projectors and probably keeping the same in mind, the company has included LAN capabilities and Crestron RoomView compatibility, besides HDMI inputs on the devices. The Z8450WUNL and Z8455WUNL projectors are also complete with HD-SDI inputs which aid in proffering HD live broadcast at about 300 feet away.
Catering to different types of audiences, each of these installation projectors boast of incorporating the DICOM Simulation mode to reproduce content such as X-rays for medical training, amongst others. They are further integrated with the Super Resolution technology which helps splash out sharp and crisp content even if the original input was of low resolution.
With the addition of these new PowerLite Pro Z models, Epson expands its installation projector portfolio to offer outstanding image quality and advanced features and functionality to meet the installation needs of several markets,” comments Sean Gunduz, product manager, Projectors, Epson America. “With capabilities like built-in edge blending, these brighter, more robust models deliver the ultimate projection experience for a wide range of venues and Epson is excited to offer this new line to a multitude of markets, including rental and staging and entertainment. When being deployed to large venues, all of these Epson PowerLite Pro Z series devices can take advantage of built-in features such as the liquid cooling system, 3LCD, 5000:1 contrast ratio, onboard 3-chip technology and dual-lamp design to deliver enhanced image quality. Each of the systems arrives incorporated with a Faroudja DCDi chipset to improve sharpness, noise reduction and deinterlacing. The gamma and RGB image adjustments let users control the color tone and brightness amongst other features.
Apart from the six optional lenses and built-in closed captioning decoder, another noteworthy spec is Epson Easy Management through which email alerts can be sent via LAN, while conducting network monitoring and maintenance scheduling. Just in case each system cannot be connected to the LAN, it is still capable of performing these tasks, thanks to the ‘schedule function’ attribute.
The Epson PowerLite Pro Z series release date and price details are unclear as of now. But the Z8450WUINL and Z8455WUNL range can be expected to launch in February this year, while the Z8250NL and Z8255NL will be purchasable in April and potential users can get their hands on the Z8350WNL projector in May.
