AOC has just announced their Aire Monitor with Docking Station, laying claim to it being the “ultimate monitor” for iPod and iPhone owners. Hmmm, just what made AOC so confident of bestowing such a lofty title? Well, this 23″ Full High Definition monitor will come with an integrated universal docking station that caters for the iPhone and iPod, instantly delivering all of your iDevice’s multimedia content to the monitor itself, thanks to AOC’s patented plug-and-play technology. This bodes well for those who love storing high definition movies on their iPod or iPhone, and 23″ of viewing goodness for one person is decent enough an experience. Apart from that, there will also be built-in speakers that deliver high quality SRS Premium Sound.

Also known as the e2343Fi if you are a sucker for model numbers and names, the AOC Aire Monitor can be yours for $279.99 sometime in March later this year. Folks headed to CES next week will be able to lay their eyes on the Aire Monitor in the flesh. Features include a 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, up to 16.7 million colors, a 5ms response time, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 250 cd/m² typical brightness, a resolution of 1920 x 1080@60Hz, HDMI digital input, and 10-watt built-in speakers.
