2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Specifications and Pictures
.
For 2012, Suzuki has updated its flagship GSX-R1000 sportbike. Engineers upgraded both the engine and chassis in an effort to give it more performance on the road. The liquid-cooled 999cc Inline-Four engine are new lighter pistons with reshaped crowns designed to boost low-end and mid-range torque. Suzuki’s ditched its dual muffler set-up for a more conventional arrangement that terminates on the right hand side of the bike. That change alone shreds 4.4 pounds off the bike.
