Coming in both 64GB and 128GB capacities, the Synapse is OCZ’s latest line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs for the mass market. These 2.5-inch SSDs are packed with 2Xnm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2281 controller, TRIM support, a MTBF of 2 million hours and promise to provide read/write speeds of up to 550/490 MB/s (64GB Model) and 550/510 MB/s (128GB Model), respectively. The Synapse series will be available from January 2012 for 15,000 Yen / $192 (64GB Model) and 25,000 Yen / $321 (128GB Model), respectively.
