OCZ has released a new line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs, the Octane. Coming in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities, these 2.5-inch SSDs are packed with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, an Indilinx Everest controller, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, TRIM support, a MTBF of 1,250,000 hours and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 535MB/s and 400MB/s, respectively. The 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models are priced at 19,500 Yen (about $251), 35,500 Yen (about $457) and 85,000 Yen (about $1,095), respectively.
