Vodafone White BlackBerry Bold 9900 Specifications and Pictures
Mobile phone carrier Vodafone UK is expected to make the BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone available on its airwaves in the near future all dressed up in white, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.
White smartphones are the trend these days, and Vodafone seems set to provide its customers with devices that would easily allow them keep up with the world.
However, beside being dressed up in white, the new BlackBerry Bold 9900 for Vodafone UK does not feature many changes from the original black device.
The handset sports the same 2.8-inch touchscreen display (640x480 pixels) as the original device, as well as the popular Bold QWERTY keyboard of the series (which will disappear as soon as the next-gen BBX platform arrives on the market).
Moreover, the new mobile phone arrives on shelves with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording.
Not to mention that it is powered by a 1.2GHz application processor that can deliver great performance capabilities when compared to the previous Bold smartphones.
Inside, the handset includes 8GB of memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.
Not to mention that it comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, as well as with NFC packed inside.
Not to mention that it is powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS, which means faster Internet browsing, as well as enhanced social networking capabilities.
The smartphone is made available for free on plans starting at £39 per month ($62 / 45 Euros), with contracts signed for a 24-month period.
The white flavor of BlackBerry Bold 9900 was listed on Vodafone UK's website here.
In the UK, the white Bold 9900 will be accompanied by pale flavors of other new BlackBerry devices as well, including the Torch 9810 and the Curve 9360.
