Red has announced the availability of the Scarlet-X cinema-grade motion and stills camera. This high-end camera features a 14 megapixel Mysterium-X sensor, which enables the camera to shoot 4K footage at 30fps, 5K at 12fps, 3K at 48fps, 1080p in 60fps, and 1K at 120fps. The Red Scarlet-X with a titanium PL mount will be launched on November 17, 2011 for $9,750.
