MadCatz has just announced the global roll-out of its Cyborg-branded R.A.T. 7 Contagion gaming mouse, a wired rodent that looks a lot like the R.A.T. 7 Albino edition but has blue writing instead of red.

Seen below, the Contagion features a metal chassis enabling length adjustments, a customizable thumb panel, interchangeable pinkie grips and palm rests, a 6400 DPI twin eye laser sensor, a weight-changing system (up to 30 grams can be added), five programmable buttons, three Cyborg Modes (each with their own button settings), a polling rate of up to 1000Hz, PTFE "Slick" feet, a braided cable, and a gold-plated USB connector.

The R.A.T. 7 Contagion is selling around the world through Apple's online store . Its price tag is $99.95 / £89.95 / €99.95.
