Huawei has launched its new Vision Android smartphone in Australia, where the device will be available starting tomorrow, November 24.

The Vision will be exclusively sold in Allphones stores across Australia, either unlocked (for $279), or on contract (Optus).

The handset is only 9.9mm thin, has an aluminum unibody design, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with a custom 3D UI from Huawei). Its features include a 3.7 inch WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 2GB of ROM.

The Vision is the second Huawei Android smartphone introduced in Australia in the last 30 days, after the dual-SIM Huawei Deuce U8520.
