Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the BeoVision 7-40 3D TV with an integrated Blu-ray player . The 3D TV uses two-sided edge-type LED backlighting with 1.5D local dimming, which improves the contrast level.What’s more, the BeoVision 7-40 also supports a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and provides a 450 cd/m2 of brightness (measured at the center of the screen). Additional features include a motorized stand, a built-in sensor which measures ambient light, a built-in digital surround sound module, a wide series of video inputs, and support for the Beo6 remote. The BeoVision 7-40 is currently available via authorized Bang & Olufsen dealers.
