Upgraded Version Of ASUS Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 Specifications and Pictures
Ever wondered why other vehicle marques did not bother to have product tie-ins with technology companies? I did think about the question for some time, but so far no plausible answer has returned. Nevertheless, I am quite sure fans of Lamborghini won’t mind toting around a portable computing device that bears the famous name on the surface, no? The Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 came with an Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz dual core processor when it was launched, alongside an Intel NM10 Express chipset, but it is nice to see Asus up the ante by introducing upgrades such as a faster 2.13GHz Atom D2700 Cedar Trail processor alongside the AMD Radeon 6470M graphics card for improved performance.
The aesthetics of the Asus Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 certainly cannot be faulted, as it comes with a 12.1″ LED backlight HD display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, sporting a 1.3-megapixel camera, holding up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, with a 2.5″ SATA hard drive (choose from 250GB or 320GB capacities) and having the ability to draw from another 500GB of Web storage thanks to a complimentary one year trial of the Asus Web Storage.
Connectivity options include a USB 2.0 port, a couple of USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi, and a multi-memory card reader that does SD, SDHC, SDXC and MMC formats. No word on pricing, but you can be sure it will not guzzle up power as much as the supercar drinks fuel.
