Thermaltake has now announced the addition of a new PC chassis to its product portfolio, that of the V3 BlacX Edition mid-tower which is obviously based on the V3 Black Edition model introduced in 2009 but adds a top-mounted HDD docking station supporting 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives.

The updated V3 measures 473 (D) x 190 (W) x 445.6 (H) mm, it weights 4.8kg, and features an all-black (inside and out) coating, a mesh front panel, an I/O panel with one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port (plus mic and speaker jacks), three exposed 5.25-inch bays, one 2.5-inch and four 3.5-inch internal bays, and one 120mm fan (1000 RPM) with blue LEDs installed at the rear.

The V3 BlacX Edition has yet to be priced.
