Plextor has decided to bring their newest line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs ‘PX-M2P’ to US market at the end of this month. Already available in Japan and Europe, the PX-M2P series SSDs come in both 128GB and 256GB sizes, and are equipped with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Marvell 88SS9174 controller, TRIM support, a MTBF of 1.5 million hours and capable of delivering read/write speeds of up to 500/320 MB/s (128GB model) and 500/440 MB/s (256GB model), respectively. The 128GB and 256GB models will retail for $239 and $449, respectively.
