Motion-Activated iCharge Spy Camera Specifications and Pictures
Do you ever leave you house, wondering if someone might just break in and make off with all of your most valuable goods? You can always invest in an alarm, which should scare off any would-be intruders. However, if they are still bold enough to run in and snatch some of your goods before the police show up, it might be good to have footage of them. That’s where a hidden camera can come in handy.
I’ve seen a number of these spy cameras, where they are disguised as other uninteresting devices. This iCharge is one of the first ones that I found to be absolutely absurd. This spy camera is cleverly hidden inside an iPhone/iPad charger, which almost guarantees that you’ll get a good look at whoever is stealing your goods. After all, if they see an iPad sitting there, you know they’re going to grab it. So what’s my big issue? Well, I’m pretty sure if your iPad is sitting on a dock, they’re going to nab both the tablet and the charger it’s sitting on. And since this device records to an internal SD card, they’re going to make off with your $400 spy cam, and all of your footage. Even if you’re not trying to nab burglars, I don’t see the motion-activated recording or the 4GB SD card justifying the high cost. There are cheaper devices on the market that would serve you just as well.
