Amazon Offers AT&T Motorola Atrix 2 For $49.99 Pictures

AT&T’s Motorola Atrix 2 is now available to purchase. This, of course, is the successor to the original Atrix announced at the beginning of this year and launched afterwards by AT&T.

The Motorola Atrix 2 was announced last week at CTIA, and it’s basically an improved version of its predecessor. The Atrix 2 has a dual-core 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 4.3-inch 960×540 touchscreen, an 8 MP camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a secondary front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage, microSD card support, 21 Mbps HSDPA, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1,785 mAh battery. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The Motorola Atrix 2 is offered directly by AT&T for $99.99 with a new two-year contract, just as expected. However, if you’d like to get an Atrix 2, there’s a much cheaper option. The same device can be had at Amazon, with the same two-year AT&T contract, for just $49.99. That’s half the price that AT&T is asking, so unless you enjoy wasting money, there’s really no reason for you not to go to Amazon and order from there.
